The firewater barrier, certified by TÜV and produced according to VdS guidelines, consists of a hinged barrier body on one side and a U-profile receiver on the opposite side. When not in use, the barrier is held in position by a locking mechanism.
The barrier is raised manually from its resting position by 90 degrees to the closed position. Upon reaching the closed position, the barrier is lowered and locked into place by means of a quick clamp. Unlocking of the clamps, lifting and resetting and locking of the barrier into its resting position also occur manually.
