Mobile firewater barrier – Sealing Drain Cover
The firewater barriers, produced according to TÜV and VdS, guidelines, consist of a 10 mm thick steel plate fitted with a special sealing element. The weight of the steel plate presses the barrier to the ground, compensating for irregularities in the floor surface and thereby creating a water tight seal around the drain or floor opening being covered.
The covers can withstand heavy loads and may be driven over so that they do not create an obstacle for trucks or forklifts. The drain cover is a space-saving, economical solution providing excellent spillage protection.
The thermally and mechanically resistant covers are also easy to handle and very durable ensuring a long operational life.
