Vertically pivoting automatic firewater barrier

The TÜV and VdS certified firewater barrier consists of a vertically standing barrier body with a hinge and barrier box on one side as well as a U-profile receiver on the other. When not in use, the barrier is held in the vertical position by a pneumatic cylinder.

Upon activation of a button, an on-site fire alarm or in cases of power loss, the vertically standing barrier pivots to the horizontal, closed position where it is automatically locked into place in the U-profile by pneumatic clamps. Unlocking of the pneumatic clamps and resetting of the barrier to its vertical position is carried out automatically by the pneumatic cylinder.
