The TÜV and VdS certified firewater barrier consists of one left side U-profile and one right side U-profile as well as an aluminum, multi-chamber profiled barrier which is thermally and mechanically resistant. A counter balancing weight is located in a rectangular pipe. When not in use, the barrier is held in the upper position.
The barrier can be lowered by hand from the resting position to the closed position. When the metal barrier has been lowered to the closed position it is manually locked into place by two quick clamps. Unlocking of the clamps and resetting of the barrier to its upper position also occurs manually.
