The TÜV and VdS certified firewater barrier consists of one horizontal floor plate hinged on either the left or right side, a U shaped profile receiver on the opposite side and a metal barrier sized appropriately for containment needs. When not in use, the barrier is held in the vertical position by a locking mechanism.
The barrier can be lowered by hand from the vertical, resting position to the horizontal, closed position and into the U-profile on the opposite side. When the metal barrier has been lowered to the horizontal, closed position it is manually locked into place by means of a quick clamp. Unlocking of the clamps and resetting of the barrier to its upper position also occurs manually.
